Connecting Far East & Kenya

Connecting Far East & Kenya

CMA CGM announced a new service connecting the Far East and Kenya

The latest update brings a direct weekly call at Qingdao and a faster transit time from North China to Kenya. With the new rotation of Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Nansha – Singapore – Port Klang – Mombasa – Singapore – Qingdao.

Mombasa will now be reached in just 27 days from Qingdao (2 days faster), 24 days from Shanghai, and 20 days from Nansha. This means improved efficiency and quicker connections for businesses in the region. Additionally, containers currently in transshipment at Colombo heading towards Mogadishu, Nacala, and Comoros will now be rerouted via Mombasa and loaded on the NOURA service.

This change will allow for a faster delivery of goods to Mogadishu, Nacala, and Comoros, reducing transit time by 9 days from Asia.

Mayotte will continue to be served through transshipment at Mombasa on the JEDDEX service, while Zanzibar and Tanga will remain accessible via Mombasa. These updates signify CMA CGM's commitment to providing efficient and reliable shipping solutions to meet the needs of businesses in the Far East and Kenya.
